Delhi man sets Guinness Record for the ‘fastest time to get to all Metro stations’

According to the Guinness Book of World Records website, Daniel Scali broke the record set by his compatriot Jarrad Young (3054) in 2021.

According to Guinness World Records, Prafull Singh made this attempt because he usually uses the Metro and expected to finish it fast.

Prafull Singh, a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) employee, has entered the Guinness World Records for the “Fastest Time to Travel to All Metro Stations.”

Singh accomplished this accomplishment by covering all 348 kilometres of metro stations in the national capital in 16 hours and 2 minutes, according to DMRC in a tweet on Tuesday.

The corporation congratulated Singh, saying, “The DMRC family is pleased with Prafull’s feat.”

According to Guinness World Records, Singh made this attempt because he frequently rides the Metro and expected to finish it fast.

Despite all of the labour and preparation, Singh was aware that the endeavour would be a physically and mentally taxing undertaking. He couldn’t sleep adequately the night before, owing to nervousness.

I’ve been riding the Delhi Metro for a long time, so I’m extremely familiar with all of the lines. My plan was to start and terminate at which station and line so that I could finish my record on time, “according to the DMRC employee.

And, of all the stations, his favourite is Patel Chowk (Line 2). The station has a modest museum dedicated to Delhi as well as the country’s first modernised transportation facility.

Singh further said that setting this Guinness World Record felt like winning an Olympic medal.
