10 life Lessons we can Learn From the Royal Family
The royal family has won people over with their perfect poise and philanthropic endeavors

Over the years, the royal family has won people over with their perfect poise and philanthropic endeavors. But in a lot of ways, they experience the same things we do not much more public level. Today we have jotted down a few pretty important life lessons we could all learn from this regal bunch.
Marry someone who makes you laugh
It worked for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip for 68 years! And Prince William and Kate Middleton are going strong at 4 years.
Keep calm and ignore your hemline
Well, when you wear a dress for most official events and get your picture taken at nearly all of them, accidents are bound to happen. The trick is to stay as gracefully unruffled as the Duchess of Cambridge.
Negotiating with a toddler is futile
One could spot Prince George wiping away tears. We also spotted his royal parents trying to have a reasoned discussion with the tot before the ceremony started.
Corgis are a queen’s best friend
Queen Elizabeth has encircled herself with petite canines since her childhood. But she’s also a fan of other breeds: As of 2007, Her Royal Highness owned five corgis, five cocker spaniels, and four dorgis. Further, Prince William and Duchess Catherine own an English cocker spaniel, Lupo.
Giving back is its reward
Well, Princess Diana was known for her humanitarian work, which took her places like Neves Bendinha Orthopaedic workshop in 1997, where she met 13-year-old Sandra Thijika who lost her leg to a land mine. Today, her sons carry on that legacy.
Always trust your partner
On a trip to North Wales, the Duke and Duchess rappelled off a wall — and held the safety rope for each other’s turn. When Will went first, he asked Kate, “Are you holding me?”
“I’ve got you,” she laughed, adding, “William, how much do you love me? … I’m quite enjoying this. For once I’m in control.”
Everybody loves a silly video
As said a family that laughs together stays together. Prince Williamoncee cracked up his father, Prince Charles, and brother with something on his iPhone at the 2014 Invictus Games in London.
It’s okay to be a super fan
Prince Harry, Duchess Kate, and Prince William geeked out at Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley at the London opening of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in April 2013. And Kate recently gushed over the cast on her regal visit to the Downton Abbey set. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall even made a trip of their own — to the set of BBC’s Dr. Who.
Sometimes, you have got to kick up your heels
Prince Harry loves cutting a rug on his travels, like during this June 2014 visit to the Fundacion Amigos de Jesusdaycaree in Santiago, Chile, where he happily danced with the children.
Invest in a few key pieces
Kate Middleton is known for her style — and for recycling it! Her favorite accessory is a pair of nude L.K. Bennet “Sledge” pumps, but she is also fond of a few other wardrobe staples, from Orla Kiely coats to Seraphine maternity dresses. And, of course, her fabulous hats.
Well, these are a few lessons that the British monarchy teaches us and we can learn from it.
