Jennifer Gwynne, Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend, has put old photos of them from their college days up for auction. According to reports, Jennifer Gwynne is auctioning off the mementos to raise funds for her stepson’s college tuition. Jennifer Gwynne dated Tesla founder Elon Musk in 1994, when the two were in their early twenties and attending the University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer Gwynne is now auctioning off old photographs and personal items to benefit her stepson.
The photos of Elon Musk and Jennifer Gwynne are from 1994 when they were both dating. Their courtship had lasted a year. Speaking with news media portal, Jennifer Gwynne said their romance was “sweet” but wasn’t “extremely affectionate”.
Elon Musk and Jennifer Gwynne broke up when the Tesla CEO moved to Palo Alto in 1995. It was when he started dating his first wife, Justine Wilson. “We met in the fall of 1994. I was a junior and he was a senior. We were in the same dorm and we worked together,” Gwynne told the outlet.E
“He was very intense, very focused on his studies. Back then he was always talking about electric cars. He was definitely going somewhere. He just saw school as a stepping stone,” she added.
There are several pictures up for auction which features Musk posing with his then-girlfriend. The pictures show the Tesla boss having fun with friends at campus, working on his computer and lying in his room. The photos are available on RR Auctions website for purchase and the minimum bids for most of these pictures start from $100.
