The pricing of the Nothing Phone (1) has been disclosed ahead of its official introduction on July 12 in India and other worldwide markets. The smartphone appears to be less expensive than iPhones.
Nothing released a video on YouTube this morning that takes viewers behind the scenes of the company’s formation and the development of the Nothing Phone (1). The next video shows the production line, the design and implementation of the Glyph and its noises, and a meeting with Qualcomm.
The new smartphone will come with three storage choices. According to Rootmygalaxy, the options are 8GB RAM and 128GB, 8GB RAM and 256GB, and 12GB RAM and 256GB.
According to sources, prices would range from $397 (Rs 31,000) to $456. (about Rs 36,000). The middle model is expected to cost $419. (Rs 32,000).
Given that the smartphone is said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G+ processor, which is designed for smartphones costing between Rs 30,000 and Rs 60,000, the price leak might be true.
This chip is currently featured in Motorola’s Edge 30 smartphone, which retails in India for Rs 27,999. In India, however, the iPhone 13 series costs half as much as these prices. In India, the standard iPhone 13 costs Rs 71,990. The Nothing Phone (1) might include two 50-megapixel rear cameras. Users will reportedly be able to capture 4K footage at 60 frames per second.
Despite multiple leaks, many official specifications remain unknown. The smartphone’s rear panel will include a “Glyph interface,” and the device will be primarily focused on its beauty. When the smartphone gets messages or the camera demands additional light, the LED lights on the interface will effectively switch on.
The Nothing Phone 1 also lacks a headphone jack but enables wireless charging. At the moment, it is unknown whether the gadget will have an IP classification.
