Ram Mandir Trust Moves Ahead With First Full-Time CEO Appointment, 18 Candidates In Final Selection Stage

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has moved to the next stage of selecting its first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Interviews of the shortlisted candidates began on Tuesday as the trust looks to strengthen the temple’s administrative setup.

The scale of interest in the position has been significant. Around 5,200 applications were received from across India, following which the selection process narrowed the field down to 18 candidates.

18 Candidates Shortlisted After 5,200 Applications

A senior trust official said the 18 shortlisted candidates had reached Ayodhya by late Monday. Their stay was arranged at different locations in the temple city as they prepared for the interview process.

The candidates are being assessed by a high-powered panel constituted for the selection. The committee is examining their administrative skills, management experience and ability to handle the responsibilities attached to the CEO’s position.

The process is expected to help the trust identify a candidate capable of handling the growing administrative requirements of the Ram Mandir.

Why The CEO Post Is Important For Ram Mandir

The proposed appointment comes at a time when the scale of activities connected with the Ram Mandir has increased considerably. The trust is managing not only the temple’s daily administration but also matters related to finance, donations, facilities and other operational responsibilities.

A full-time CEO is expected to bring greater coordination to these areas and help the trust run its administrative functions through a more organised management structure.

The position has also gained importance following allegations of irregularities concerning donations received for the temple. The trust’s decision to appoint a full-time executive is being viewed in the context of strengthening oversight of its administrative and financial systems.

Selection Panel To Decide On Suitable Candidate

The trust has not yet announced the name of the person who will take charge as CEO. The shortlisted candidates will first go through the interview and assessment process before the final selection is made.

The panel’s evaluation will be important because the CEO will be expected to manage responsibilities that extend beyond routine office administration. The candidate will need to coordinate different functions while working within the framework established by the trust.

First Full-Time CEO Could Bring New Administrative Structure

The appointment will be significant because this will be the first full-time CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Once the selection is completed, the new CEO is expected to become an important part of the temple’s administrative framework. The move could help the trust establish a more defined system for handling the expanding operational and financial responsibilities associated with the Ram Mandir.

The final appointment is expected after the completion of the interview and selection process.
