MS Dhoni won the heart of a differently-abled fan, at Ranchi Airport
MS Dhoni is the only captain in ICC history to have won all three trophies (T20 World Cup, 50-over WC, and Champions Trophy). The 40-year-old, who will retire from international cricket in 2020, has repeatedly led India to victory. Regardless, he has managed to make billions of people happy along the way. At the Ranchi Airport on Tuesday, he won the heart of Lavanya Pilania, a differently-abled fan.
Lavanya said Dhoni is nice, polite, and soft-spoken
When Dhoni met Lavanya, he was on his way to the Ranchi Airport to catch a flight.
On her Instagram account, Lavanya described her incredible experience of meeting Dhoni, saying, “The feeling of seeing him is something I can’t put into words; he is kind, lovely, and soft-spoken.” He shook my hand and inquired about the spelling of my name. For me, it was pure pleasure.
Dhoni was overjoyed when he saw his sketch
Lavanya added that the Chennai Super Kings captain was overjoyed to see the youngster’s sketch and vowed to take it home. “What he provided me in terms of his valuable time was something I can’t convey in words,” Lavanya continued.
CSK appreciated Dhoni’s kind gesture through Twitter
CSK had a poor performance in the IPL 2022.
In IPL 2022, Dhoni, the most successful IPL captain in terms of match victories, was unable to guide CSK to the playoffs. In the rankings, CSK finished ahead of the bottom-placed Mumbai Indians. With Ravindra Jadeja replacing Dhoni as captain, the Yellow Amry faced a captaincy conundrum. Midway through the season, Jadeja handed the baton back to Dhoni. CSK, on the other hand, was too late!
