Former U.S. President Donald Trump has lashed out at the nation’s Supreme Court after it rejected his appeal Tuesday to try to prevent the Internal Revenue Service from turning over his tax returns to a House committee.
“Why would anyone be surprised that the Supreme Court has ruled against me?” the former president has questioned with irony through his profile on Truth Social, the social network that he himself promoted after being expelled from Twitter and where he now seems to have been readmitted.
