The internet is horrified after watching a video of a robotic dog shooting a machine gun. A fully automatic machine pistol is mounted on the robotic dog’s back, and video of the incident is going viral on social media. The video was initially published on YouTube in March by Russian internet entrepreneur Alexander Atamanov, according to a description of the post on Reddit. The dog is also seen in the footage monitoring a home against a snowy backdrop.
The robotic dog is then seen shooting at standing targets. In a Facebook post, Mr. Atamanov called the location a “training field.” In front of the range, an armoured truck is seen.

Multiple bullets are observed being fired at targets by the quick robot. In order to demonstrate how aiming is done, a quick close-up of the gun’s eyepiece is also included in the film.
The artificial dog doesn’t appear to be able to manage the gun’s recoil properly, though. It may be seen struggling to regain its equilibrium.
The PP-19 Vityaz, an AK-74-inspired submachine gun, is Russian, according to reports, and is placed on the dog.
On social media, there is a discussion on the need for such equipment in response to the video. A Reddit user said that “Russian kids found American Paw Patrol to be too uninteresting, so they had to make something.”
If these objects are granted greater rights than people, it won’t surprise me in the least. Mr. Atamov established HOVERSURF in 2014, in accordance with his LinkedIn page. He started his career in the aerospace sector after being born in Russia. Although Mr. Atamov’s business has its headquarters in San Jose, California, it is unknown where the footage of the robotic dog was shot.
In 2021, Ghost Robotics showed a similar robot dog prototype in the US. The killer robot, also known as SPUR (Special Purpose Unmanned Rifle), was armed with a 6.5mm Creedmoor rifle and had sensors that allowed it to operate both during the day and at night.
