After a two-month journey, popstar Mika Singh has chosen Akanksha Puri as his future wife on Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. The television actor beat out Prantika Das and Neet Mahal for the singer’s heart.
According to a source, while Mika liked all three women, he realised that Akanksha knows him best because they have been friends for a long time. As a result, he chose her for the Mika Di Vohti final, leaving the other two matches heartbroken.

Akanksha Puri, who has known Mika Singh for the past 13-14 years, entered Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti as a wild card contestant. She’d admitted that seeing Mika with other women made her realise how much she didn’t want to lose him. It was reported that she approached the channel herself to participate in the show.
“I would be the king’s one and only queen,” she says. Akanksha had entered the show with this promise, and she managed to keep it. As readers are aware, Akanksha was previously in the news for dating Paras Chhabra. On Bigg Boss 13, he ended his relationship with her after falling for co-contestant Mahira Sharma.

Mika Singh admitted at the show’s premiere that he had turned down over 100 marriage proposals from family members. “I didn’t see any of them because it disgusts me when a girl comes in with a tray and you tell her you don’t approve of her.” As a result, I fled before it reached this point. “I rejected myself before I rejected any girl,” he admitted. However, the “Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag” singer admitted that he was now ready to take the plunge and thus said yes to the swayamvar.
