Manish Sisodia Has a Recording Of The BJP’s Offer To Drop Cases, According to AAP Sources
Manish Sisodia, who has been charged by the CBI in connection with the capital’s now-rescinded liquor policy, stated earlier in the day that the BJP had offered to “shut all cases” against him if he left the AAP and crossed over.

New Delhi: According to party sources, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has an audio recording of a BJP leader calling him and offering to drop a CBI case against him if he left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and helped bring it down.
“We don’t need to end the conversation just yet. However, if necessary, AAP will make the phone conversation public “According to an AAP leader who asked not to be identified,
Mr Sisodia, who has been charged by the CBI in connection with the capital’s now-rescinded liquor policy, stated earlier in the day that the BJP had offered to “shut all cases” against him if he left the AAP and crossed over.
“The BJP has sent me a message: leave AAP and join the BJP. We will see to it that all CBI and ED cases against you are closed “Manish Sisodia took to Twitter two days after the CBI raided his home and named him in a chargesheet in connection with an alleged liquor policy violation.
The BJP categorically denied the claim. “This is part of the AAP’s shoot-and-run policy. If they have proof, they should make it public “Pramod Swami, a BJP leader, stated.
Manish Sisodia challenged the BJP to do “whatever you want” after emphasising that all charges against him are false.
“My response to the BJP: I am a Rajput descendant of Maharana Pratap. I am willing to be beheaded, but I will never submit to conspirators and corrupt people. All of the charges filed against me are false. You can do whatever you want “he said in a Hindi tweet.
Manoj Tiwari, a BJP leader, slammed Mr Sisodia, saying it was shameful that he was comparing himself to Maharana Pratap.
“It’s disgraceful that he compares himself to Maharana Pratap. Did Maharana Pratap force people to consume alcohol? You sell alcohol in every nook and cranny. You are ignoring the cries of the women of Delhi. Maharana Pratap had once taken up arms in support of women “He stated.
“You’re comparing Maharana Pratap to someone who’s been charged with corruption? Such corrupt individuals can only find a home in AAP. He will be punished for his actions. The BJP works hard to punish wrongdoers like Manish Sisodia. The BJP has no place for the corrupt “He continued.
Supporting the charge, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said there are “three dozen examples” of the BJP pressuring rival party leaders with investigations and then dropping cases once they switched sides.
Mr Sisodia said he’d never betray his political mentor, Arvind Kejriwal. “My message to the BJP in response to their offer to make me CM candidate: @ArvindKejriwal is my political mentor, and I will never betray him. My dream is for every child in the country to receive a good education, and only then will India become the number one country. Only Kejriwal ji can carry out this task for the entire country “Mr. Sisodia sent out a tweet in Hindi.
The CBI recently raided a senior AAP leader in connection with alleged irregularities and corruption in Delhi’s liquor policy, which was implemented earlier this year and then reversed.
Mr Sisodia, seemingly unfazed, doubled down last week, claiming that the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 was the “best” of its kind and would have earned 10,000 crore per year but for a last-minute decision-change by former Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
The Deputy Chief Minister claims that Mr Baijal changed his mind about allowing liquor stores in unauthorised colonies, causing the city government to lose thousands of crores.
In support of his deputy, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal today slammed the BJP. He claimed that the BJP-led government is busy misusing investigative agencies and plotting ways to destabilise elected governments while people suffer from skyrocketing inflation and a plummeting rupee.
The AAP claims that cases against Mr Sisodia and other leaders are being fabricated because the BJP is concerned about the party’s and its chief Arvind Kejriwal’s popularity. Mr Sisodia has stated that the general election in 2024 will be a contest between Mr Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and he has accused the BJP of abusing central government agencies to derail the AAP leader.
