Google changes the Play Store logo in celebration of its 10th anniversary
The new logo, according to Google, complements the branding used by Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, and other services.

Google is celebrating its tenth anniversary by giving customers additional Google Play Points for a full day. In addition, the business updated the Google Play Store’s logo, which debuted with Android 1.0 as Android Market. The Play Store has developed into a digital marketplace for services like music, movies, books, and other products in addition to acting as the official market for programmes that operate on the Android OS.
In a blog post, Google said that the new logo it was releasing “better expresses the magic of Google and fits the identity shared by many of our helpful products—Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, and more.”
We appreciate working with the Google Play community and developers for ten years. Members of Play Points can activate a points booster to receive 10x points on all purchases.
Nearly 2.65 million apps are currently available in the more than 190 countries that offer access to the Google Play Store.
Android Play Points Users are effectively rewarded and given the opportunity to earn Google Play Points for using the store’s apps.
