Big Boss Season 1 Host Arshad Warsi (2006)

Arshad Warsi was the host of the first-ever Big Boss in Hindi version. He is the recipient of several awards, including the Filmfare Award. The series ended on 26 January 2007 and Rahul Roy became the winner.

Big Boss Season 2 Host Shilpa Shetty (2008)

In the second season of Bigg Boss, Shilpa Shetty was the host of the show. Fourteen contestants’ houses were entered during the launch and were described as newsmakers rather than celebrities.

Big Boss Season 3 Host Amitabh Bachchan (2009)

In the third season of Bigg Boss Season host was one and only Amitabh Bachchan. Bindu Dara Singh was declared the winner in that season.

Big Boss Season 4 Host Salman Khan (2010)

The fourth season of the reality shows Bigg Boss has actor Salman Khan. Reality show actress Shweta Tiwari won that season. She received Rs 1 crore from Bigg Boss.

Bigg Boss Season 5 Hosted by Salman Khan & Sanjay Dutt (2011)

It aired from 2 October 2011 to 7 January 2012 on Colors, the hosts were Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan as Major. During the launch on 2 October, fourteen hand-built houses entered a house.

Bigg Boss Season 6 to 14 Host Salman Khan (2012 – 2021)

Well from Season 6 to Season 14, Salman Khan ruled the Bigg Boss. Notably, it is the most popular reality TV show in India. Produced by Endemolshine India through Viacom18. The show airs on Colors TV and is now available for online viewing on the Voot app.

Bigg Boss Halla Bol Season 8 Finale Host Farah Khan (2015)

Bigg Boss Halla Bol is a spin-off of the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss. It was a union of Bigg Boss 8, similar to the concept adopted by the ultimate Big Brother. The season was hosted by Farah Khan in the new format of the show, as Salman bid for the show due to the filming schedule of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The season was won by Gautam Gulati.

Big Boss Season 15 Host Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who was the host of season 15 too, was paid Rs 350 Crores for hosting BB 15 Season 15 for 14 weeks. It is to be noted that the ‘Dabangg’ Khan has been hosting the superhit reality show for the past 11 seasons.

Big Boss Season 16 Host Salman Khan

In this season too, Salman Khan is the host of Bigg Boss 16. The season aired on September 27. However, there is still confusion regarding contestants.
