In a first, Supreme Court recognises concept of marital rape Rohini Rajhansh Sep 30, 2022 the Supreme Court on Thursday, recognised marital rape for the purpose of unwanted pregnancy for abortion and held that rape under Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act.
