Kiev and parts of eastern Ukraine came under Russian drone attacks, the latest in the series of strikes that have continued for several days over the New Year period.

Scheduled power cuts will take place in Kiev and the three other regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa from Monday onwards as authorities are trying to stabilise power outages across Ukraine.
