Cricket World Cup final

Two days after the Cricket World Cup final, India has absented itself from voting on a General Assembly resolution on sports promoting "understanding among peoples and nations".

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated Australia for winning Cricket World Cup final by defeating India and also cheered for Team India, saying every Indian is proud of team.
