BIG B OPEN HIS HEART AGAIN BUT WILL IT REALLY HAPPENS THIS TIME ?

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has unveiled that he will be paying off loans of over 850 farmers from Uttar Pradesh.

The 76-year-old actor said he previously had helped over 350 farmers from Maharashtra by paying their debts.

“It has been a most satisfying experience to give some to them our countrymen that sacrificed their lives for us… 44 families diversified into 112 entities were given out in my small way from Maharashtra, the brave hearts , the SHAHEED. More needs to be done from other parts of the country too. It shall be done.” Amitabh Bachchan

“Over 350 farmer’s loans that were difficult to pay off, and to prevent them from committing suicide, was paid off some days back too… Earlier farmer loans from Andhra and Vidarbha had been done… Now a list of over 850 farmers from Uttar Pradesh have been identified and their loans amounting to over Rs. 5.5 crore shall be taken care of… The assistance from the bank in question assists in its execution and its benevolence.” –Amitabh Bachchan wrote in a blog post

The actor also quoted that he will be helping Ajeet Singh, who appeared on KBC Karmveer.

“Tomorrow a contribution to Ajeet Singh, who was on KBC Karmveer, and who works towards forced prostitution and the protection of young girls being kidnapped and forced into this dastardly crime, is being sent to him to help in his most valiant endeavor.” Amitabh Bachchan

It is noted that ten years ago, BigB’s, wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived in an anonymous village of Uttar Pradesh to lay the foundation of an educational institution.

Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah too had attended the function when he laid the foundation stone of the college on 27 January 2008; the Bachchan family have now abandoned the project, allege villagers.

10 years on, the villagers of Daulatpur near Lucknow decided that enough is enough and they could no longer rely on Bachchan and his family to construct an educational institute. The villagers came together to fund an equally ambitious college, literally 500 meters from the site of the proposed Aishwarya Rai College. Together, they have now collected Rs 60 lakh and even constructed a building with 12 classrooms. It will be confusing for those farmers to rely and believe again on such aspiration promises.
