Kejriwal on the BJP toppling governments; trust vote on Monday
According to Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP has deposed governments in Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and the convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), compared the BJP to a serial killer on Friday, referring to the recent demise of non-BJP governments across the country.
Kejriwal told a special Assembly session that the BJP has deposed governments in Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya. “In the city, there is a serial killer who is committing one murder after another.” “When people choose a government, they destabilise it,” he explained.
The Delhi Assembly’s special session was extended by one day. According to information shared by the Press, the AAP government will table a motion of confidence on Monday.
The AAP chief claimed that the BJP has so far purchased 277 MLAs, claiming that the saffron party used money collected through GST and increases in petrol and diesel prices to poach legislators.
“We calculated that 277 MLAs attended their party” (BJP). If they had given each MLA 20 crore, they would have purchased MLAs worth 5,500 crore. That is why there is inflation, because they are spending all of the money on MLAs at the expense of the common man,” Kejriwal later told reporters.
“The raid continued for 14 hours, but not a single penny was found,” Kejriwal said of the raid at Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s residence in connection with the now-defunct excise policy. Nothing was discovered: no jewellery, no cash, no land or property documents, no incriminating documents – nothing was discovered. It was a sham raid.”
He went on to say that vested interests are now attempting to bring down the Delhi government.
The Delhi chief minister went on to say that the BJP’s fortress in Gujarat is under threat and crumbling, and that the recent ED and CBI raids on his party are related to the upcoming Assembly elections in the western state.
Kejriwal claimed that the BJP-led Centre wants to undermine the good work being done in schools, and that Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has now launched an investigation into Delhi government-run schools.
He also chastised the Centre for denying him permission to visit Singapore. “Those opposed to the country’s progress prevented me from speaking to mayors in Singapore about the good work of the Delhi government,” the CM added.
