“RESTORING DHARMA”- EVERYONES RESPONSIBILITY

Kathas and Bhagwat are our precious epics; these are gems for humanity. How to lead a good happy life, how to follow our goals and render all our duties including respecting our parents and elders are all taught by these kathas. Ultimately, it teaches us how to reach the goal of life, i.e., moksha.
It’s a big irony where on one hand we our neglecting our rich culture and on the other people in many countries across the globe respect our traditions and are curious for the same. There are many people in India who feel proud and class in speaking English. But, people in countries like Fiji are proud to use Hindi and converse in it everywhere they go. These people on foreign lands have not even forgotten the Sanatan Dharma, the religion, culture and heritage. They never forget to chant Ramayana before any auspicious function at their homes. And why one should not, as knowing Ram will only lead to good deeds and karma. So, they are still following a culture which came decades before. A tilak on forehead, a mala around the neck, respect towards elders, the concept of atithi devo bhava, the way they greet with a namaskara all are symbols that how they are following our Sanatan culture with full dedication. We should follow our ancestors and their foot step. We should follow their preachings. It shall be remembered that the nation and person who transcends one’s own ancient culture, precious traditions and valuable religion will get devastated eventually.
Now what is Religion? So to that I would say religion is something gifted to our ancestors by their ancestors! Our religion is that old, mature and classical. Thus, it is our duty to promulgate such early religion and its values to our young generations. And not only the culture but a sense of responsibility to make the same culture live is also needed to be ingested in the modern youth. We all shall know that we are bearing this huge responsibility towards our culture and nation. Once every one in the country starts shouldering this sense of responsibility, we would automatically become an empowered nation!
