GURU OR SADGURU

Attainment of truth, wisdom and spirituality is not permissible without a Guru (Master)! Before attaining these three elements, one has to attain the pre-requisite element in the form of a Guru. However, there lies a fine difference between a “Guru” and a “Sadguru”; a “Guru” is the one who has knowledge, awakening and the elementalism whereas a “Sadguru” is the one who has attained perfection, which has become a huge hymn of philosophy, tenacity, sacrifice and love; who has distinguished every cover of the cycle!
This world is “Maya”, and one who can take us out of the huge ocean of this “Maya” is none other than a Sadguru!
Moreover, the attainment of Guru or Sadguru is greatly governed by the level and state of one’s own knowledge and mentality. Generally, we perceive a person who is more knowledgeable and spiritually developed than us to be our Guru. To some extent it is ethical. Of course, we should honor and respect a person who is better than us and, in fact, should learn from and absorb their good qualities so as to lead towards betterment! No doubt, within a knowledgeable and spiritual person, the seed of the “master element” begins sprouting but, it will definitely take time to flourish into a full tree!
Nowadays, most people do not really want to attain these elements of knowledge and spirituality; they only want to get their work accomplished through the guru and thus they take Guru just as a medium to get their things done! They are looking more for a socially and economically prosperous Guru, not a spiritually developed one! According to one’s own perception and choice, one attains his Guru. Hardly matters if that person is a juggler or a thug! Does it make any difference?
Don’t search for a guru while focusing on your problems instead develop that “student element” in yourself and then recognize the “Guru element” in others. A Guru is not for your wish accomplishments, but he there for self attainment. It totally depends on you whether you need a Gold or a“Paras”!
Thus, attainment of a “Sadguru” is not easy and neither does Sadgurus need you!Such gurus are kept away from the social crowd and the awakening! Only a person who is filled with truth, penance, devotion and love can reach around them! His conscience depends only on his own will!
