Although the CWG 2022 got started on July 28, the events for the different sports didn’t start until the next day, on July 29, 2022.

Olympic bronze medalist Bajrang Punia won three of his four fights in the opening round of the 65 kg class, effectively defending his title. Wrestler Bajrang Punia brought honour to his country by winning gold in the Men’s 65 Kg category.

Following PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen won the gold medal in men’s singles badminton at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Veteran Sharath Kamal maintained his dominance by winning the Gold Medal in the Men’s Singles Table Tennis event at the CWG 2022 in Birmingham.

Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Chandrashekhar Shetty won the gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games final.
