India will play an ODI series in Zimbabwe; Check out the details 

Next month, the Indian cricket team will visit Zimbabwe for a three-match One-Day International series. On August 18, 20, and 22, respectively, the matches will take place. The ICC Cricket World Cup Super League will include the ODIs. These white-ball matches take place in Harare. It’s interesting to note that since June 2016, this will be India’s first visit to Zimbabwe.

1. Zimbabwe has to win the games in order to compete in the Cricket World Cup in 2019.

2. India automatically qualified for the major event because it is the hosts.

3. The next series will provide the Zimbabwean athletes a chance to prove their worth against the top cricketers in the world.

“Obviously, playing India is something that every tiny nation looks forward to. Because the majority of the players participate in the IPL, they are intimidated by it, so it will be great for Zimbabwe’s cricket community, the young players, and every cricketer is looking forward to it because it will be a good learning experience for them “According to NDTV, Lalchand Rajput, technical director of Zimbabwe Cricket.

How did India do on their 2016 trip of Zimbabwe?

1. Team India, captained by MS Dhoni, played three ODIs as many T20Is in Zimbabwe between June and July 2016.

2. They made sure that the ODI series was won 3-0.

3. KL Rahul got 196 runs totaled at a price of 196.00.

4. Jasprit Bumrah, a seamer, collected nine wickets at an average of 8.56.

5. After being defeated in the first game, India recovered to win the T20Is 2-1.

How has Zimbabwe performed in recent years?

The most recent defeat for Zimbabwe came in June, when Afghanistan defeated them 3-0. The last bilateral series they won was in June 2019, when they defeated the UAE 4-0 in Harare. They have surprisingly only won three ODIs and since (19 losses, one no-result).

India has a busy schedule

1. After the white-ball portion of their match against England, India will play three ODIs and five T20Is in the Caribbean.

2. India will play Zimbabwe in a one-day match later, and on August 27, they will compete in the Asia Cup.

3. On August 28, The Men in Blue and their nemesis Pakistan will square off.

1. In the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, India is presently ranked sixth with 79 points.

2. They have managed four loses and eight victories.

3. The Super League will not include the upcoming ODI matches against England and the West Indies.

4. Zimbabwe is currently in last place out of the 13 teams who are competing.

5. With three victories, 11 defeats, and a no-result, they have 35 points.
