Leading Esports Company 100 Thieves fires Dozens of Staff Members, Including Senior Executives

In a significant restructure for the esports, media, and clothing firm, 100 Thieves, the second-most valued esports organisation in the world, has let go of key employees from its social media and content departments, including senior staff and executives.

According to Dexerto, key members of the social media and content team of 100 Thieves, which has a $460 million valuation, were sacked. These individuals included executive producers and video editors.

Blackbeard, a seasoned member of OpTic Gaming’s social media team, was one of those fired.

Another well-known figure was executive producer Mike Aransky, previously of IGN and ESPN.

“I have no idea where to begin. So I’m saying goodbye to @100Thieves today after almost 4 years “Thursday saw a tweet from Aransky.

Aransky contributed to “from the ground up building the content team.”

The laid-off workers expressed their appreciation for their experience with 100 Thieves.

Alec Daughtry, a former editor, tweeted, “From being a fan for years to working for the firm and meeting fantastic people, it’s been an incredible pleasure.

According to reports, the top esports organisation TSM recently let go of more than 20 staff.
