Virat Kohli attempts to balance his bat like Joe Root; the video goes viral

During the match against Leicestershire, Virat Kohli appeared to be trying to mimic Joe Root’s fantastic bat-balancing style,  Check the video.

The Rohit Sharma-led team In Leicester, Team India will play against Leicestershire. The match does not receive first-class status because it is a warm-up, thus all of the players may participate. Players representing Leicestershire include Prasidh Krishna, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah from India.

Virat Kohli is the match’s main draw despite not serving as the captain. However, the right-handed batsman had trouble with the ball and was out for 33. The right-handed batter appeared reliable when batting in the middle but was unable to build on his promising start.

 

Kohli stole the show during his innings since it appeared that he was trying to copy Joe Root’s bat-balancing style. The former captain of India attempted to keep the bat still for a while but was unsuccessful. During the Lord’s Test match against New Zealand a few weeks ago, Root displayed his mystical abilities by balancing his bat.

India chose to bat after winning the toss in the game. The visitor’s innings, which had gotten off to a strong start, was ruined by the rapid departures of Shubman Gill (21) and Rohit (25). In addition to struggling, Hanuma Vihari and Shreyas Iyer were expelled for 3 and 0, respectively. It’s interesting to note that Prasidh fired Iyer immediately after consulting Kohli.

After India struggled in the first session, a lot was placed on Kohli, but he was unable to turn his start into a significant one. KS Bharat has demonstrated his batting prowess by surpassing the 50-run threshold. Umesh Yadav also joins him.

Roman Walker, who has a five-for, has been the standout bowler for Leicestershire. He has never played first-class cricket, and because it was just a practise match, his five-wicket haul won’t count toward his total. Prasidh has so far removed one batsman while Bumrah has yet to record a wicket.
