IPL 2022: Phir Hera Feri Gang is here, starring Trent Boult and others

After RR’s last Match, the New Zealand trio of Trent Boult, James Neesham and Daryl Mitchell have come out with a very funny musical performance. They’ve thrilled their Bollywood lip-sync to the next level while singing one of Bollywood’s most popular and hilarious tunes till now.
The Rajasthan Royals are well-known for their social media involvement. They recently shared a video on their Social Media Pages in which Boult, Neesham, and Mitchell are seen donning sunglasses and dancing to a song from Akshay Kumar’s Phir Hera Pheri.
Then, with little embarrassment, Boult smiles and exits the platform. The original song featured the famed Bollywood comedic three of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, whose gang was known in the film as the ‘Dhoom Dhadaka Gang.’ “The Dhoom Dhadaka gang has three new members!” Rajasthan Royals captioned the video, referring to the band’s moniker.

To which users on Twitter erupted in laughter after seeing their favourite cricket stars recreate the song and imitate some amusing moves. Some also commended Rajasthan’s Twitter account’s administrator for posting such off-field fun content. The 37-second video has now earned over 6.8 lakh views and over 24500 likes since it was shared.

During this year’s IPL mega auction, Rajasthan Royals payed Rs 8 crores, 1.5 crores, and 75 lakhs for Boult, Neesham, and Mitchell, respectively. Trent Boult has already taken 12 wickets in 12 games, with the other two appearing in two more.
