THE PERFECT REDEMPTION……FLINCHED,THRILLED AND FINALLY CLINCHED

Predicting a winner became immensely impossible after a certain point in cricket. But when your prediction turns reality it becomes a jaw-dropping moment. Same as India emerged champion after a victorious match against Bangladesh in the finals of Asia Cup 2018.

Seriously WHAT A GAME!

As a true enthusiast we all live match like this, that ends up to the last ball, to that final moment, when nerves decide which team crosses the hurdle. Phew!

No doubt, with a commendable performance India turned victorious but as the cliché goes that anything can happen when it comes to the last ball of the last over. On finals afternoon you wouldn’t have loved to be in Ravindra Jadeja’s shoes, who snatched the dramatic last-ball win as India clinched their 7th Asia Cup title.

A modest target was being chased by India of 223 at Dubai International Stadium, after winning the toss and inviting Bangladesh to bat first. Despite batting talent and wealth of experience there came a point when India almost failed to reach that target as the tension reached the breaking point.

Because Bangladesh played really well. Bangladesh was up for each and every challenge India threw at them. They must return home very proud. Yes, they could not win but they have shown great fight in these matches. They need to take heart from the fact that they can surely make world beaters like India doubt on their win in such big games. With Liton Das, Bangladesh Batsman making his brilliant century in final along with the highest score of 121 runs.

“I understand the dynamics of the team, how we play cricket and how we want to go forward as a team. So, I think taking everything into consideration; we want to move forward and I think in this tournament I can clearly say that we ticked to all boxes here, and that is the challenge for us and now we go whenever we play that is the challenge for us to keep continuing to take boxes and get better as a team.”  -Rohit Sharma

“Boys obviously should feel proud but and as a player we have to learn so many things we always play this kind of tournament and we always struggling like today we have good start but couldn’t go through further but more than this I really did a good job in the tournament and managed to score good.” -Mashrafe Mortaza
