Nitin Gadkari claims that petrol will vanish from India over the next five years

Nitin Gadkari, a union minister, expressed confidence that after five years gasoline will no longer be used in Indian automobiles.He continued by saying that green fuel will eliminate the need for petrol.

The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways provided a reason for using green fuels like ethanol and hydrogen during his speech.

“In five years, I truly believe that petrol will no longer be considered in the country. Your cars will either run on green hydrogen, ethanol flex fuel, compressed natural gas, or LNG “explained he.

Gadkari also urged agricultural researchers and specialists to concentrate on raising the sector’s growth from 12% to 20% over the following five years.

In view of the Maharashtrian farmers’ outstanding potential, he emphasized on the importance of helping and educating them with modern research and technology.

Earlier on June 17, Gadkari had stated that all electric cars (EVs) in the nation will cost the same as petroleum cars within a year.He had said that the government is promoting ethanol made from crop residue as a substitute for petrol and diesel.
