According to the reports, a weapon, live cartridges, a note counting machine and cash worth 23 Lakhs were seized from an aide of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in a raid by the Delhi Police.
The items were seized by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi Police. The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has earlier conducted raids on several locations, including Zakir Nagar, Batla House and Jamia Nagar (Joga Bai Extension). The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) is currently probing alleged irregularities in recruitment in the Delhi Waqf board. The ACB on Friday conducted raids on four premises.
According to sources, when the ACB team reached Khan’s residence to arrest him, it was attacked by Khan’s relatives and other people allegedly known to the AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan.
The seized Items including a weapon, live cartridges, cash counting machine and cash worth 23 Lakhs, were seized from Hamid Ali Khan’s place in Jamia Nagar who allegedly is Amanatullah’s friend. The police further informed that Ali handles the finances of the AAP leader. According to reports, the weapon seized from Ali’s place was a Beretta Pistol and more likely belongs to the AAP leader.
A senior police officer revealed that Hamid Ali Khan, an alleged aide of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, had been arrested under the Arms Act by the southeast district police.
Kapil Mishra recently responded to the news of the recovery of illegal weapons and cash worth lakhs from an aide of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan. Mishra said “It is necessary to investigate the connection of the weapons found with Amanatullah to the Delhi riots. Kejriwal gang is running the government of crime, mafia and commission in Delhi.”
“On Friday, after the raids were conducted successfully by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi Police, a total of three FIRs were registered”, the police officials stated.
The first FIR was lodged against Hamid Ali Khan, after a Beretta Pistol and some cartridges were seized from his residence in Jamia Nagar. The second case was registered against Kaushar Imam Siddique, a resident of Jogabai Extension, after a country-made pistol and some cartridges were seized from his residence and the third case was registered for obstructing the raid conducted by the Anti-corruption Branch (ACB).
