Lansdowne is a place where after reaching it seems that the long-forgotten realization has returned to life again.
The journey of Lansdowne is full of adventures on its own, especially during this time when due to rains mountain roads become difficult and inaccessible. The cold softer breeze touching your cheeks. Upon reaching this place, it is realized that Garhwal is the main center of the rifle; it is mainly a cantonment area. Lansdowne is also commonly known as Kaludanda in colloquialism. As soon as you enter Lansdowne large signboards of soldiers with their stories appears and by reading the stories of their bravery and valor written on them, new enthusiasm gets filled in the heart. Watching the soldiers’ memorial symbol of bravery, the War Memorial fills with thrill.
BHULLA TAL LAKE
Due to a small area of Lansdowne, all the places here can be turned on foot. In this way, there is a chance to see nature closely and breathe in the fresh air. A few meters away from here Bhulla Tal Lake is situated. Seeing such a scene among the mountains, it seems like a dream. Small colorful boats floating in the lake looks like someone had mixed the colors in the water. People enjoying sitting in them and their friends clicking their pictures, people repeat this sequence repeatedly and add another memo to their memories. White ducks floating in the lake seem like pearls. Due to being surrounded by mountains from all sides, the length of the lake is not much.
TIP-IN-TOP
Going forward in this way, one reaches ‘Tip-in-Top’ only in few steps. Due to being on height this is one of the most popular places in Lansdowne. Viewing far from here only mountains are visible. If you gaze at the high-rise peaks of the Himalayan Mountains, it gives a beautiful feeling. The cars running on the road appear like a toy. It is astonishing to see how the roads would have been constructed on these inaccessible and rocky mountains. While seeing downwards heartbeat beats faster. Looking at the scenic view, it feels to sit still that way and keep gazing this beautiful sight for hours. The body seems to be fatigued, but it disappears after seeing such a sight. By seeing this, it seems that nature is a gift of God, given to entire humanity that we all need to protect and cared for.

Just a few steps away lies St. Mary’s Church. There is a small museum through which it can be estimated that when it was constructed. There is a willing well in the church. It is such a belief that if the coin is dropped in the well, and a wish is made then it will definitely be fulfilled. As beautiful the church appear from outside, it is equally beautiful from the inside.

There is a Catholic Church going a little further, whose walls are filled with enlightening words that draws everyone’s attention. Every place carries a beauty within it, which brings us closer to nature, whether it is flowing water or flowing wind or even flora and fauna. A confluence of these three at one place is incredible in itself.
BAZAAR OF LANSDOWNE
As you look at the turn of the market, almost complete Lansdown appears, and it feels that Lansdowne should be reconciled in a fist. Stairs built houses look like as if the cards are kept on top of one another and they are painted with different colors. Shops made of wood appear one after another, after gradually moving towards the market. Everything reminiscent of old times as shown in television. In the meantime, due to the arrival of tourists from India and abroad, there is a lot of buzz in the market.
