Haryana BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack in Goa

Sonali Phogat, a Haryana BJP leader and actress, died of a heart attack in Goa at the age of 42.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar tweeted his condolences, saying, “Received very sad news of the sudden demise of BJP leader Sonali Phogat ji.” May God rest the departed soul at his feet and give the bereaved family members strength to bear this enormous loss.”

Capt Bhupender, the BJP’s district president in Hisar, stated, “Sonali Phogat was with some of her associates in Goa.” We learned about an hour ago that she had a cardiac arrest and died in the early morning hours. Certain formalities are being completed in Goa, after which her body will be transported to Haryana.”

Om Prakash Dhankar, the party’s state president, also expressed sorrow over her death. “I learned of Sonali Phogat’s tragic death. “This is very sad news,” he said.

Sonali Phogat ran for the Adampur seat in the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections against Kuldeep Bishnoi, who recently switched from the Congress party to the BJP. She did, however, lose to Bishnoi.

She joined the BJP in 2008 and rose through the ranks to become the national vice president of the Maliha Morcha, as well as the head of the party’s tribe wing in several states including Haryana, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

Sonali Phogat, a popular Tik Tok star, appeared in the 14th season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss. Her other credits include anchoring for Hisar Doordarshan and appearing in Ameet Choudhary’s “The Story of Badmashgarh.” She has also appeared in a TV show called “Amma” and a few Haryanvi films.

On September 21, 1979, the actress was born in Bhutan, a small village in Hisar. Her father works as a farmer. She is the youngest of four siblings. She attended a school in Noida’s Sector 1 district.
