New Delhi : After years of deliberations, the army finally approved the construction project of 15,000 crore on Sunday. Under this project, only weapons and tanks with important technology will be created in the country.
The main purpose of this project is to eliminate the import of arms or dependence on foreign countries. There will be no shortage of arms in the war for 30 days from this project.
According to official sources, this ambitious project of the Army will involve 11 private companies. A senior government official said that the total cost of this project is 15 thousand crore rupees. The goal of this project is to complete in 10 years. However, he did not give much information about the project.
This project was discussed last month in the meeting of Army’s top commanders. It is being said to be the largest project of weapon building in the country so far. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat also spoke of the need for arms and ammunition in the army.
