In this article, we have jotted down five learnings from Independence Day that students need to know.

Freedom Struggle

“Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom.”

Well, the country today sees development in many forms starting from Technology to infrastructure, everything has transformed. The way we communicate has transformed. Thus, the students of today should understand the importance of the memorial of Independence day and how they can make changes in the world, for the coming future.

Understand Your Worth

As students, you should also ask yourself what you can do. Believe in what you are good at and practice your level best to be perfect in it. India stands on the efforts of many such people who put aside normal odds and decided to know their worth and used their knowledge to change history.

Don’t Be Scared

Being a student can be scary. There are teachers, principals, your parents, sometimes your friends, and most importantly, expectations that all of them have for you. At times when you are determined to score good marks, or when you are wanted to do the task and if you feel scared, take a deep breath.

Forces of Freedom

Whatever you have taken up, complete. Do not pressurize yourself too much, but be focused. Practice meditation and take a walk in the evening. As known the freedom fighters never let any distraction cause them to shift away from their goal.

Talk To Your Close Ones

Well, we only hear about the great achievements and speeches of the freedom fighters, and rarely do we get to study their private lives. Gandhi had full support for Kasturba throughout the struggle. Further many families and friends supported the ones who moved up front. This was because they let their friends and families come closer to what they were envisioning.
