Exclusive interview of Devkinandan Thakur with Garima Singh

How would you like to elucidate your often talked of hypothesis “Satyam Shivam Sundaram”?

Yes. I opine that in the existent society “Satyam”, “Shivam”, and “Sundaram” correspond to the “journalists”, “preachers”, and “artists”, respectively. And I believe, if these get rectified the entire picture would turn upside down as all these three elements directly affect the society. So, it’s an urgent call for them to deliver their duty sincerely.

And what do you feel can be the best possible remedy for all these chaos?

The major answerability for the same, I feel, rests upon the shoulders of the “Parents”. Because, if the early upbringing of a child is pious then, if in any course of time, he deviates in the influence of the filthy society, he may promptly identify that he is being misled and can over come the influence soon.

A lot has been talked of the modern day women, about their roles, dressing and their increasing participation in the country. Any comment?

Every person whether men or women shall work within their own spheres; the spheres which they were made for. Since early ages, the heroic acts of our historic female warriors as Rani Lakshmibai, even Rani Padmavati, and Sita are a benchmark for everyone. And from them we should learn that for any contribution to the society one need not cross her dignities and should cultivate nobility as our legendary female idols did.

What would be “Devkinandan Thakur’s” message for the male youth of the country? Are there any set dignities for them as well?

Definitely, there are certain dignities defined for everyone in the society, be it a male or a female. Now, for a powerful India, which certainly we all aspire, building of “Rams” will eventually lead to strengthening of every “Sita” of the society today. So, both of them shall strive for a moral and pious character development.

Would you like to tell us how you are planning to contribute to make the desired changes happen?

In all my “kathas”, I have been focusing on a 360 degree transformation of the society. But now, I am more focusing on the youths and their mental rectifications regarding religion and life.
