EARLIER FACE BROUGHT THE VOTES…… NOW VOTES WILL DECIDE THE FACE

Although, Karunanidhi were not in active politics for very long, but in spite of that a big vacuum has taken place due to the demise of 94 years old active politician. One such state where people idol worship the living as god, those people of Southern state, TamilNadu only elected Karunanidhi five times as a chief minister.
In the name of Tamil’s identity massive protestor of Hindi, obsession for opposing Hindi as a national language, even rejecting the existence of lord Rama or for crossing the limits of audacity by accepting LITTE cheif Prabhakaran as a friend publicly, he might be known as a villain in the hindi belt but he was seen and worshipped as a god in his own state.
Karunanidhi never tasted the defeat in elections he ever contested. After the death of his political guru Annadurai in 1969, leftover political field was filled very potentially by Karunanidhi and introduced to his leadership quality. At this time Karunanidhi was one of the best script writer of Tamil cinema. Even so he played a major role in making his friend MGR firstly actor then politician. But being upset from Karunanidhi’s issue of dynasty and family, his friend MGR formed another party AIADMK and became political foe.
Where on one side after Annadurai, Karunanidhi popularized DMK in Tamil Nadu with rapid speed on the other hand after the death of MGR in 1987 actress of her time J Jayalalitha with her political potential made AIADMK to reach to same peek where MGR wanted.
To estimate the leadership quality and political skills of both the politicians it’s enough to know that after 1967 other than DMK and AIADMK no other political party found its existence in Tamil Nadu.
But now there is neither Jayalalitha nor M. Karunanidhi and neither both the parties have any renowned face to fill the spot and lift the parties.
Karunanidhi himself declared Stalin as his successor but Stalin being a party face could not save his spot despite of anti-incumbency factor in 2016. Even so Stalin has to justify his position of taking the stance of his father and it would be a tough task for him to keep the party intact, protected, popular and in the race.
On the other hand, in AIADMK after the death of J. Jayalalitha in spite of long dramatic huffy still the trouble is that both chief minister and deputy chief minster are not as charismatic and energetic as Jayalalitha had been.
In this scenario, the hope for Kamal Hasan and Rajnikant increases because this state has always made the film stars as the rising star of the politics but the way is too long and in middle of this BJP is also discovering its opportunity. But circumstances are that there is 100% vacuum in the leadership after Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi because earlier, votes are earned in their names and now the one who will get the votes will be the leader.
