TWICE’s – IM Nayeon
The music video has received over 100 million views on YouTube and has won five music awards. TWICE member Nayeon made a big impression with her solo debut. Her mini-album “IM NAYEON” also broke records left and right – she really popped off!
LE SSERAFIM – FEARLESS
HYBE’s first girl group LE SSERAFIM (an anagram for “I’m fearless”) made a big impression with their debut mini album “FEARLESS” back in May. “FEARLESS” won four awards and surpassed 100 million views. The group has also confirmed that they are preparing for their first comeback, so stay tuned for more great music!
IVE – After Like
IVE’s releases, including their most recent comeback single “After LIKE,” have dominated the charts. The song earned the group their first perfect all-kill and has won a total of nine music show awards. They also had the third-highest first-day sales of any female K-pop artist, which is even more impressive given that they are still in their early stages!
aespa – Girls
aespa has dominated the K-pop scene this year, with their fourth music video surpassing 100 million views. In August, the “Girls” mini album became the best-selling K-pop girl group album of all time, making history. As if that weren’t enough, they were the first female K-pop act to reach the Billboard 200 Top 3!
Girls’ Generation – FOREVER 1
The return of K-pop legends Girls’ Generation has firmly established 2022 as the year of the girl group! For the first time in five years, their album “FOREVER 1” debuted at the top of iTunes charts in dozens of countries around the world. And fans from all over the world were overcome with nostalgia when they saw all eight members perform together!
