Soundarya VS Priyanka: Netizens call Saundra ‘Cheap’ for her “Ankit Ki Maa Gala Daba Legi” remark

In the most recent episode of “Bigg Boss 16,” actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was seen sobbing, following host Salman Khan’s disclosure of contestant Soundarya Sharma’s derogatory comment. The ongoing season of Big Boss has marked countless disputes and controversies and the recent “Shukrawar Ka Waar” episode added fuel to the fire.

The host of the show, Salman Khan, entered the big boss house and played the ‘chugli’ game with the housemates, where he told the contestants about comments that were made by their friends’ foes on their backs. This flared up a lot of rivalries in the big boss house.

During the ‘Chugli’ game, Salman Khan asked Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary to guess a comment made by one of the housemates on her relationship with Ankit Gupta. The derogatory remark “Ankit ki maa apna gala daba legi, agar ye bahu ban kar unke ghar jayegi toh. Main sach bata rahi hu, Ankit ki maa khuun ke aasu roone wali hain,” made Priyanka Chaudhary furious. She took a couple of wrong guesses before the host, Salman Khan, exposed Sundarya Sharma on national television for making an extremely derogatory remark on Priyanka.

Shortly after Salman Khan left the big boss house, the two contestants, Priyanka Chaudhary and Sundarya Sharma, were seen getting involved in a nasty cat fight. The heated argument also saw Ankit Gupta bashing Saundarya for involving his mother in her conversation in a derogatory manner. Many fellow contestants of the house, including Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Gautam Vig tried to sort things out between the two contestants but nothing could stop the fury of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.

In the same episode, Saundarya was seen apologizing to Priyanka for her derogatory remark, justifying what the contestant had said earlier. She responded “it all happened in a really light mood and I never meant it.” However, an explanation from Saundrya couldn’t calm a furious Priyanka Chahar inside the Big Boss house, who was seen breaking down on national television.

The host of Big Boss season 16, Salman Khan, was also seen schooling Saundarya for taking a personal dig at Priyanka and involving Ankit’s family into it. The host asked Saundarya to be careful about her words inside the Big Boss house next time. Amidst all the chaos, Ankit Gupta, who shares a sparkling chemistry with his co-actress on Udaariyan, Priyanka, was seen taking a firm stand for the actress.

Saundarya’s derogatory remark didn’t seem to go down too well with the netizens. A Big Boss viewer bashed Saundarya for her disrespectful and unapologetic behaviour towards Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary after the entire incident, in a tweet that read, “And the funniest part is she didn’t even have a little bit of guilt on her face after saying so much on national television about another girl. And if that’s your class, Saundarya, then you’re a very cheap person.”
