SHOCKING! Sajid Khan and Gauhaur Khan were engaged but never got married. Here’s why
We believe Sajid Khan’s share of dark days isn’t yet finished after seeing him describe himself in a recent video as a man with “a loose character.”
Sajid Khan, a filmmaker from Bollywood, was subjected to numerous severe sexual harassment allegations during the MeToo movement. The filmmaker was banned from directing any movies in Bollywood for one year, following his trial in the MeToo case where nine actresses, including Saloni Chopra, Manadana Karimi and Sherlyn Chopra accused the filmmaker of sexual harassment allegations.
The shocking entry of Sajid Khan in Big Boss season 16 faced a lot of backlash from outside the house. The Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal demanded an immediate eviction of the filmmaker from the ongoing season of India’s biggest controversial show, Big Boss.
We believe Sajid Khan’s share of dark days isn’t yet finished after seeing him describe himself in a recent video as a man with “a loose character.” Before entering the Big Boss house, Sajid confessed that his ‘arrogance’ is what made him fail in life. Recently, a video went viral on the internet, where the filmmaker Sajid Khan can be seen talking about his past relationships. The filmmaker, Sajid Khan, was allegedly engaged to the big boss winner, Gauhar Khan, but because Sajid was involved in a lot of affairs, the marriage couldn’t ever take place.
In Kiran Juneja’s show ‘Koshish Ke Kamyab Tak’,, Sajid was questioned about his separation with Gauhaur Khan. The filmmaker was evidently hesitant to get Gauhaur’s name on national television at first. Later, he responded “My character was very loose at that point of time. I was hanging out with countless girls at that time and I was lying a lot. Although I never really felt the love with each girl that I was with, I used to say – I love you and will marry me.”
The filmmaker, who was in an open conversation with Kiran Juneja, was later seen laughing at his habit of playing around the girls. Sajid Khan jokingly remarked that if he had wed every girl he had ever been with, he would have been married to roughly 350 women.
Later in the episode, Sajid was also questioned about his take on arranged marriages. The filmmaker immediately responded by calling it to be the best decision. Sajid Khan mentioned that the stepping stone of every great relationship is friendship. In the filmmaker’s opinion, planned marriages endure longer since the two partners have adequate time to get to know one another.
As per the reports, Sajid Khan and Gauhaur Khan were engaged in the year 2003, but they chose to call off their relationship for personal reasons. Gauhar Khan, who is currently married to dancer and social media influencer Zaid Darbar, has also dated TV actor, Kushal Tandon, who was one of her co-contestants inside the Big Boss house in season 7.
