The Nambi Effect, a biographical drama film, will have its exclusive streaming premiere on Amazon Prime Video today. The film, produced by Tricolour Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures, stars R. Madhavan and marks his directorial debut. It also stars talented actors Simran and Ranjit Kapoor, as well as Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan in cameo roles.
Prime members in India and 240 other countries and territories will be able to watch the film in Tamil, as well as Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada dubs, beginning July 26, 2022.

There has been no update on the streaming of the Hindi and English versions of the film.

This biographical drama is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was arrested and imprisoned in 1994 for espionage. The film follows his accomplishments, his passion for the country’s space mission, his unwavering dedication, and the accusation that became the biggest personal and professional setback of his life. R. Madhavan, the actor-director, gives an outstanding performance in this emotionally charged human drama.
