Kate Winslet’s first look as Na’vi warrior in Avatar the Way of Water revealed

In May, director James Cameron finally released a short teaser for Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to Avatar. The teaser lasted 105 seconds and promised to be a visual treat. In the much-anticipated film, Kate Winslet will play the role of Na’vi warrior Ronal. The first look at Kate Winslet as Ronal was recently revealed on the cover of Empire magazine. Her first appearance as a Na’vi warrior wowed fans.

Kate, the Na’vi warrior, looks fiery with her big eyes and canine teeth. The designers gave Ronal a slightly different appearance than Neytiri from Avatar (played by Zoe Saldana). In contrast to the first Avatar film, Ronal’s eyes are blue rather than yellow, and he has tattoos on his body and face. A glimpse of Kate was shown in the small preview released in May. However, nothing else was revealed. As a result, her debut as Na’vi has piqued everyone’s interest.

Kate reunited with James Cameron after 26 years with Avatar: The Way of Water. They last collaborated on the film Titanic. Kate had to learn how to free-dive and hold her breath for over seven minutes in order to pull off the underwater scenes in Avatar 2.

Avatar: The Way of Water, directed by James Cameron, stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaa, CCH Pounder, Curtis, Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang.

The film will be released in theatres on December 16, 2022. Fans will also be able to rewatch the first film in theatres on September 23, as previously announced.
