Gauri Khan Finally Breaks Silence On Aryan Khan’s Arrest in the Drugs-On-Cruise Case

Interior designer and producer, Gauri Khan, recently graced one of the most popular celebrity chat shows in India, ‘Koffee with Karan’, with her presence. Gauri Khan had been on the ‘couch’ earlier in 2005. Khan graced Johar’s show, Koffee with Karan, after a gap of 17 long years.

The seventh season of Koffee with Karan kick started on July 7. The celebrity chat show has featured multiple iconic personalities from the Bollywood film fraternity, including Katrina Kaif, Siddharth Malhotra, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan etc.

The latest episode of the chat show marked the entry of Gauri Khan, the wife of Bollywood’s King Khan.

During one of the sequences on the chat show, the host, Karan Johar, applauded Gauri Khan for dealing with the ordeal of Aryan’s arrest in the drugs-on-cruise case with all the courage and coming out even stronger.

Johar, who is also Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend in the industry and a godfather to his children, went ahead and questioned Gauri, “What do you have to say about your own way of handling tough times, when families go through something like that?”

Responding to the host’s question, Gauri Khan chose to finally break her silence on her son, Aryan Khan’s arrest in the drugs-on-cruise case during the 12th episode of Koffee with Karan, season 7.

She responded, “Yes, as a family, we’ve been through… I think nothing can be worse than what we’ve just been through, obviously, as a mother, as a parent. But today, when we stand as a family, I can say that we are in a great space where we feel loved by everyone. And all our friends, and so many people who we did not know. So many messages and so much of love and I just feel blessed. And I would say I’m grateful to all the people who have helped us through this.”

Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood king, Shahrukh Khan, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in October last year for doing recreational drugs at a cruise party.

The Narcotics Control Bureau charged Khan with certain laws related to possession, consumption and sale of illegal substances. The star kid was under Police custody for 26 long days in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail before the Bombay High Court granted him a bail on October 28.

The Bombay High court on October 28 allowed Shahrukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, to walk free from all the charges pressed on the 24-year-old star kid by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) due to lack of evidence.
