After the recent room re-arrangement task, the tables had turned upside down for Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot, who seemed to be in love with each other earlier. Although a lot of viewers and housemates have labelled their relationship ‘fake’ and ‘pretentious’ since the beginning, the two contestants have always been the talk of the town for their love angle.
In the most recent Bigg Boss 16 episode, Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot got into a fight after the actress made some offensive remarks against Sumbul Touqeer Khan. The fight between the two escalated to an extent that Shalin told Tina she was no longer allowed to call him “Sha”, following which, the actress broke down into tears.
In the recent promo of Bigg Boss 16 shared by ColorsTV on its Twitter handle, the big boss house witnessed a major split between Shalin and Tina. In the conversation that was released in the promo, Shalin tells Tina to start playing the game if they can’t build trust with one another. “If we have no trust, let’s play the game. The only place I am a little weak is my heart,.” The actor lashed out at Tina Dutta.
The actress who was previously hurt by Shalin’s actions in the room re-arrangement task asked Shalin to calm down because it was his actions that created an impact on her behaviour towards him. “I was the one who was getting hurt. I am upset.” Tina Dutta said, hitting back at Shalin. An aggressive Shalin Bhanot, responded “My name is Shalin. Call me Shalin. You have lost the right to call me Sha.” While yelling at the actress.
Shalin, who was earlier linked with co-contestant Sumbul Touqeer Khan, has always been the most controversial contestant of Big Boss season 16 for many other reasons, his love tale with Tina Dutta being one of those reasons. Many housemates, including, Manya Singh, Ankit Gupta and the recently eliminated contestant, Sreejita De called Tina Dutta the most cunning player inside the Big Boss house and have also labelled her relationship with Shalin as ‘forced’, ‘dumb’ and ‘fake’.
