And this year Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will be representing India as a jury member, along with other prestigious celebs. Deepika Padukone is a jury member this year, along with other prominent names from the entertainment industry throughout the world.
Trust Deepika Padukone to turn heads wherever she goes. As the 75th Cannes Film Festival kickstarted on Monday with a jury dinner, Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a Louis Vuitton multi-coloured embellished short dress and knee-high brown boots.

Padukone kept her makeup minimal and hair in beach waves as she met fellow jury members for a pre-festival dinner. She was joined by Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux, US film director and member of the jury of the official selection Jeff Nichols, British actress and member of the jury of the official selection Rebecca Hall, and Italian actress and member of the jury of the official selection Jasmine Trinca.
Deepika also shared a sneak peek with her fans on instagram as she landed in france for the gala. In the video, Deepika is finding it hard to choose between eating and sleeping.
Joining Deepika Padukone on the jury panel are actresses Rebecca Hall and Noomi Rapace, known for their roles in Iron Man 3 and Sherlock Holmes: Book Of Shadows respectively. Also on the jury are Asghar Farhadi, Jasmine Trinca, Jeff Nichols, Ladj Ly and Joachim Trier. The jury will award the Palme d’Or honours at the closing of the film festival.
According to reports, Deepika, who has been a red carpet regular at the Cannes film festival since 2017, is expected to walk for all ten days.
