Things are getting even worse for Shalin outside the big boss house. Recently, Daljeet Kaur, Shalin Bhanot’s ex-wife, took a dig at Shalin for making false allegations about her on the show.
In the latest episode of Big Boss season 16, Shalin Bhanot, who had earlier been linked with Sumbul Touqeer Khan, confessed his love for Tina Dutta. The two contestants were seen having a conversation in the garden area, where Tina questioned Shalin if his previous marriage ended due to ‘toxicity’, reacting to which Shalin laughed it off and hinted that the reasons for separation were lame and silly. The actor also alleged that he is best-friends with his ex-wife.
Although the viewers have labelled it ‘fake’, Shalin Bhanot is currently seen sharing a close inter-personal relationship with Tina Dutta. The actor has also confessed his love for Tina inside the Big Boss house on national television.
In a recent interview, Daljeet Kaur finally chose to open up about her ex-husband, Shalin’s love relationship with Tina Dutta inside the Big Boss house. The actress mentioned that she’s clearly upset with the ‘best-friends’ remark that Shalin has made inside the house. Moreover, the actress stated that it was unjustified for Shalin to talk about their past on national television and make a mockery out of it, by calling it ‘a silly issue’. The actress also shared her stint in Big Boss 13. She mentioned how she was a part of the big boss house herself, but she never chose to talk about her marriage just to garner some attention from the viewers.
“I am in a really good space now and I really want to keep away from all the Dalljiet-Shalin controversies and I don’t want my 8-year-old son to watch all these things on national television. Whether Shalin chooses to be with Tina or anyone else on the show or outside, I only wish him peace and happiness because he is the father of my child and I really want nothing but positive vibes from Shalin.” Daljeet Kaur mentioned in the interview.
In the recent episode of Big Boss 16, Shalin Bhanot was seen discussing his marriage with Tina Dutta. For the unversed, Daljeet Kaur and Shalin Bhanot filed for divorce in 2016. Daljeet accused Shalin Bhanot of domestic violence, infidelity and mental assault. In a recent conversation with Tina Dutta, Shalin denied all the claims made by Daljeet Kaur and mentioned that he is ‘best-friends’ with his ex-wife. Shalin was also seen laughing over the divorce reasons and labelled them as some lame silly issues.
Daljeet Kaur instantly reacted to his ‘best-friends’ claim and asked Shalin to keep her out of his fictional story. Daljeet took to her official Twitter account and posted a tweet that read, “No. I am not your best friend, Shalin. Meeting once in a month or two months for the sake of my child does not qualify as friendship. I wish you luck with your love life, but leave me out of your functions and stories..and you are calling it funny? Really? Tina, no hard feelings for you..”
