Rapper Raftaar and wife Komal Vohra file for divorce, end 6 years of marriage

 

Raftaar, a well-known Indian rapper, and Komal Vohra, his wife and interior designer, have chosen to divorce after six years of marriage. The pair has reportedly been living apart for some time, according a story in Hindustan Times.

According to reports, Raftaar and his wife Komal filed for divorce in 2020, but it got delayed because of the covid-19 pandemic. According to the article, the couple will file for divorce on October 6, 2022.

Komal is sister of popular television actors, Karan and Kunal Vohra. While Komal is an interior designer, brothers Karan and Kunal have done shows like Zindagi Ki Mehek and Brahmarakshas.

Komal and Raftaar (aka Dilin Nair) met in 2011 at a friend’s place and had hit is off instantly. They got engaged and married in 2016.

Rafaar has not made any formal statements on the development so far. Before getting married in 2016, the pair dated for approximately 5 years. According to reports, the two have unfollowed one another on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Raftaar has produced a number of popular songs in the past, including the rap song “All Black” and the Haseeno ka Deewana song from the movie Kaabil. He most recently sang the theme song for the just-released movie Janhit Mein Jaari, which stars Nushratt Bharucha in the lead role.
