John Abraham Doesn’t Want To Be Available For ‘Rs 299 Or Rs 499 On OTT’; Says ‘I Am A Big-Screen Hero’

John Abraham has expressed his views about the OTT platform. Throughout his career, John has appeared in films ranging from horror and drama to humour and action. He has also created some fascinating material for celluloid. As he juggles the responsibilities of actor and producer, he has opposing perspectives on the OTT realm. In a recent interview with a news outlet, the Force actor revealed that, while he enjoys OTT platforms as a producer, as an actor, he prefers the big screen.

In an interview with ETimes, John Abraham discussed the streaming medium and stated that, as a producer, he enjoys the space and would want to cater to the audience on the platforms. He did, however, add that, as an actor, he is quite clear about his desire to be on the big screen. “I am a big-screen hero and that is where I want to be seen. At this point, I will do films that cater to the big screen. I would find it offensive if someone shut off my film midway on a tablet because they needed to rush to the washroom. Also, I would not like to be available for Rs 299 or 499. I have a problem with it,” John stated.

Several netizens objected to his comments by reminding him of his previous disasters, such as Attack and Satyameva Jayate 2. One Twitter user wrote, “Too much ego for someone who makes movies like Satyamev Jayate 2. We very well know about your standards after watching Housefull 2 Mr. John.”

John also has Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
