Athiya Shetty is gushing over her boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul. Athiya shared a polaroid photo of herself and Rahul on Wednesday, and they both smiled for the camera.
Athiya was wearing a green shirt in the photo, while Rahul was wearing a white T-shirt. Both appeared to be sitting on a couch, their heads rubbing against each other. She captioned the photo, “Favorite one.” In addition, she included a monkey emoji in her post.
Rahul and Athiya made their relationship public last year when the Indian cricketer wished her on her birthday with a social media post that included both of them. Rahul even attended Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap’s premiere. The couple recently travelled to Munich, Germany, where Rahul underwent surgery.
Athiya recently addressed media speculation about their wedding. The Hero actor took to Instagram to share a post on her story that read, “I hope I’m invited to this wedding that’s taking place in 3 months, Lol”.
There were rumours that Athiya was planning to marry her long-term boyfriend within the next three months. Previously, the Motichoor Chaknachoor actor denied rumours that the couple had purchased a new luxurious apartment in Mumbai and were planning a live-in relationship.
Athiya recently launched her YouTube channel and was most recently seen in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Motichoor Chaknachoor. Athiya stated, “My YouTube channel will be an extension of myself. I will do my best to provide people with an insight into my life. On my channel, fans can see my skincare routine as well as behind-the-scenes footage from shoots and work. Also, the things I enjoy doing with fashion, videos of my pets, and the foods I enjoy eating.” In 2015, she made her acting debut alongside Sooraj Pancholi in Salman Khan’s Hero. At the box office, the film failed to wow the audience.
