Shamshera Trailer: Ranbir Kapoor Is Here With His Never Seen Before Rugged Avatar

The trailer of Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor is finally out. On Friday, the film’s producers released the much-anticipated trailer, which piqued everyone’s interest. The trailer opens by revealing that the film is set in 1870s India under British control. It then shows Ranbeer, who is leading a squad of dacoits. The adversary is then played by Sanjay Dutt. Shamshera’s journey to combat Britishers is then depicted in the trailer. A voice-over later in the film introduces Ranbir’s character and mentions how he is not frightened of anything.
The trailer will keep you intrigued as Shamshera confronts the British Raj. The trailer is not only aesthetically beautiful but also indicates that the film would be a delight for action fans, from the power-packed action sequences to Ranbir’s rough look and Vaani Kapoor’s sensuality. Ranbir’s appearance in the clip may remind you of Ranveer Singh’s Khilji in Padmaavat at times. However, some of the sequences would make you question if the narrative will be similar to that of Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR.
Just a few days ago, Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from Shamshera was leaked on social media, prompting Yash Raj Films to issue a statement expressing displeasure and stating that they will now have to change their plans for the trailer’s release. “We have been monitoring this situation since morning. There has been a leak and it’s quite unfortunate. Ranbir is coming back to the big screen after 4 years and we wanted to guard Ranbir’s look till people see the trailer because we were aware that it would be the biggest talking point. We will now need to rejig our entire plan in the run-up to the trailer launch. We should have more updates to share in the next two days,” the statement read.
