Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani are leaving no stones unturned in promoting their upcoming film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. They recently won people’s hearts by taking a metro to promote their film. Accompanied by Anil Kapoor, Kiara and Varun were seen commuting by Mumbai metro to beat the traffic and save time amid hectic promotions.
The duo was also seen in a video eating Vada Pao inside the metro, embracing their inner Mumbaikar! Varun seemed to like his brief trip on the metro so much that he went on to say that taking the metro is the best way to save time during rush hour! They were, however, viciously mocked on social media after a video of them consuming food in the metro went viral. Netizens were outraged by their actions and demanded that Varun and Kiara be fined.
A user wrote, “Eating is not allowed in Mumbai Metro.” Another added, “Will someone get up and notice.” A third comment read, “Metro me khaana varjit h ,ab aapka yahi video viral ho jayega eating in metro.”
Varun was dressed casually in a pink t-shirt and denim for the outing, while Kiara looked stunning in a white tank top and black jeans.
‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo,’ which is due to hit theatres on June 24, has already sparked mass hysteria. Even the movie’s song ‘Nach Punjaaban’ has been causing a lot of buzz on Instagram recently, with numerous stars posting videos of them dancing to the song’s strains.
Neetu Kapoor joins Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in the film. Varun Sood, a reality TV personality, will also make a cameo appearance in the film. The family drama is directed by Raj Mehta, who previously supported the 2019 hit film ‘Good Newwz,’ starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Diljeet Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani, and produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 studios.
