Mouni Roy, the star of Naagin, decided to try her luck in Bollywood with films like Romeo Akbar Walter and Made in China after becoming a household figure and making it big in the television industry. She will soon be featured in a major part in Ayan Mukherji’s fantasy adventure film Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva, which is one of the most eagerly anticipated projects in the Hindi cinema industry. Mouni is an antagonist in the film, which stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan.
Fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are giddy with anticipation as the Brahmāstra trailer is due to premiere tomorrow. Ayan Mukerji has revealed a new poster featuring Mouni’s character Junoon ahead of the film’s release. The billboard features a ‘pure diabolical’ image of Mouni, introducing her as Meet the head of the Dark Forces, our Mysterious Queen of Darkness. According to speculations, Mouni will play the adversary in the film, using her abilities to battle Ranbir.
Ayan acknowledged his admiration for Mouni’s performance in the film by sharing a poster of her as Junoon. He penned, “I believe that many people will leave Brahmāstra talking about Mouni’s performance as Junoon. Mouni, who has a deep faith in and dedication to Lord Shiva, has always had a natural grasp of Brahmāstra, and with that understanding, she nailed her role in our film! I offered her a ‘special appearance’ in Brahmāstra during our first meeting. She eventually shot with us from the first day to the end, and she is truly the film’s surprise package!”
