Big Boss season 16 : Shalin Bhanot Accused of Domestic Violence and Attempt to Murder Three Years Ago, Take a Look Here
In a complaint that Daljeet filed against her husband, Shalin Bhanot, she accused the actor of adultery, dowry harassment, and domestic violence.
Since the first episode, the current season of Big Boss has garnered a lot of attention. The controversial contestants on the show have been adding quite a lot of buzz to the show lately. After Sajid Khan, who was accused of sexual misconduct by various actresses including Saloni Chopra and Mandana Karimi in 2018, recently, Shalin Bhanot came to light in one of the episodes for the allegations of domestic violence brought against the actor by his former wife, Daljeet Kaur.
Shalin and Daljeet met on the sets of the TV show Kulvaddhu and got married in 2009. The couple is also blessed with a son. Even though everything appeared to be going well on the surface, the couple was quietly battling with a lot. In 2015, when Daljeet filed for divorce and accused Shalin of domestic abuse, things took an unexpected turn.
Although Shalin Bhanot has always opted to keep quiet about the situation in front of the press and within the Big Boss house as well, Daljeet Kaur who was herself a contestant on the show Big Boss in season 13 has been quite vocal about her marriage with Shalin on the reality show during her season. Unfortunately, Daljeet Kaur was the first contestant to get evicted from the Big Boss house in season 13.
In a complaint that Daljeet filed against her husband, Shalin Bhanot, she accused the actor of adultery, dowry harassment, and domestic violence. The Nach Baliye winner, Daljeet Kaur, even approached the Asst. Commissioner of Police and lodged an attempt to murder case against her husband, Shalin. In her complaint, Kaur clearly mentioned that Shalin used to physically assault her while her in-laws used to stay silent the entire time. The actress also mentioned an incident where her husband, Shalin, grabbed her by the neck, banged her head against a wall multiple times and threw her on the furniture. Later, Kaur revealed that her maid rescued her from the locked apartment.
Shalin has consistently chosen to remain silent on the subject and has not responded to any questions from the media about his son or about his marriage with Daljeet Kaur. Meanwhile, Shalin Bhanot has been in the news for being linked with his co-contestants, Sumbul and Tina Dutta, inside the Big Boss house. It will be quite interesting to see how long Shalin holds back from telling his side of the story on the national television.
