Big Boss Season 16 : Manya Singh Accuses Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqeer of “Faking” their On-Screen Relationship

The new season of Big Boss 16 has been well received by the viewers since its release. With an avalanche of rivalries between the contestants, it appeared like the show had already caught fire. After Shalin Bhanot vs Sajid Khan and Shiv Thackeray vs Nimrit Kaur, the new contestants joined the avalanche of rivalries were the runner up of the Miss India title, Manya Singh and Imlie actress, Sumbul Touqeer Khan.
Although Manya Singh and Sumbul were seen sharing a good bond in the first two days of the show, the nominations caused a wedge between the two contestants. In the first nomination round of Big Boss Season 16, Sumbul Touqeer Khan took the name of Manya Singh, who was on good terms with her. The decision affected the latter and her bond with Sumbul.
In one of the recent episodes, the new rivals, Sumbul and Manya, were seen getting into a nasty fight after Sajid Khan’s standup comedy act. Sitting next to Archana Gautam, Manya Singh raised questions about Sumbul’s equation with her fellow contestant Shalin Bhanot. The two are frequently spotted together in the Big Boss house and share a good and comforting space with each other.
While speaking to Archana Gautam, Manya Singh made a derogatory remark about the pair and called their bond ‘fake’. The runner up for the Miss India title, Manya Singh, went ahead and compared the duo with Sidharth Shuka and Shehnaaz Gill of Big Boss season 13. She mentioned how Sumbul and Shalin are deliberately trying to ‘copy’ the romance that existed between the iconic couple of Big Boss, Siddharth and Shehnaaz. Manya chuckled and concurred with herself, saying that since their love was genuine and Sumbul-Shalin could never ‘replicate’ it.
“Everyone in the house wants to be like Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla, but they cannot because they aren’t real. The emotions of Siddharth and Shehnaaz were completely true and real. They were ready to even die for each other in their season. Don’t understand, why do these contestants forget that only one person wins the trophy at the end of the day.” Manya Singh yelled in frustration.
Shockingly, this wasn’t all. Manya Singh went ahead and accused Sumbul Touqeer Khan for using Shalin Bhanot to get ahead in the show. “She’s just holding some guy’s hand and moving ahead in the show. If you really want to show that age is nothing, then better do it on your own and not by holding someone’s hand,” Manya said while she was talking to Archana Gautam.
Well, if Salman decides to bring up the offensive statement in the weekend ka war episode, we’re quite curious to see how Sumbul Touqeer Khan will respond.
